Game Crunch – 197 – Not Jangling

This week on Game Crunch: Mike explores the far reaches of outer space in Mass Effect Andromeda.  The reviews didn’t scare him away, but how does he feel thus far with his time in the game? He also found some time to take Splatoon 2 for a test drive with the few open times available this weekend.  Will it live up to it’s predecessor?  Nick, on the other hand, talks about his weekend setting up his first Super Smash Bros for Wii U tournament.  How does he feel planting the seeds for the next Evo style tournament?  Rounding out news: StarCraft is coming back! Game Crunch – 196 – Prize Package of Games

This week on Game Crunch: Nick returns to talk Blaster Master Zero with Brandon and also takes Danganronpa 1-2 Reload for a spin.  Brandon finally gets his much anticipated Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + for the Switch and tries out NieR Automata for the PC.  Is this another tale of a PC port gone bad? Rounding out the now playing section Mike finally takes the Australia Summer update for a spin in Civilization VI.  We know he likes it, but does Australia make a welcome introduction into the game?  Also he’s still dragging his feet in Dragon Quest VIII while waiting for Mass Effect Andromeda.  Not much news this week, but that Disney Afternoon Collection is on the way! Game Crunch – 194 – Bye Boomerang

This week on Game Crunch: The Switch has arrived!  Zelda is here!  This week we dive into Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with talk on our many adventures.  We do our best to keep the conversation as spoiler free as possible, focusing on mostly things that have happened or what the gameplay allows while avoiding story and location spoilers.  If you do want to avoid Zelda talk we put it at the beginning of the podcast for easy skipping – the conversation ends at about 00:30:20.  Also this week we talk about our Nintendo Switch systems.  What works? What doesn’t?  Brandon dabbles with the Japanese eShop and tries out a few things yet to make to our shores. Brandon also reveals whether or not he finished Horizon Zero Dawn yet as guaranteed on the last episode.  Nick and Brandon both get time with another Switch game: Super Bomberman R. Game Crunch – 193 – Missing Link

This week on Game Crunch: The Game Crunch team waits ever so patiently for their new systems and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.  However, the calm before the storm has thrown them off into directions that they couldn’t have predicted the week before.  Mike finds himself not playing Dragon Quest VIII.  He gets pulled into is eternal guilty pleasure of Civilization VI instead fresh with new updates.  Brandon is not playing anything recent and finds himself playing Berserk and the Band of the Hawk.  He also finds himself back in the betting arena with a claim that the others don’t think will hold any merit.  In Brandon we trust? Nick, on the other hand, isn’t playing anything at all, but he does bring a movie recommendation and his plans for the Switch midnight release.  Which brings the podcast into news where Switch news and other industry highlights are coming out at a rapid clip.  All this and more in the latest Game Crunch!
